It is the visual impulses that have the greatest impact on people today, their significance is greater than the spoken or written word. However, its education seems increasingly unimportant. How do we want our children to be media-literates if we don't teach them to recognise what is true, what is false, what is beautiful and harmonious and what is not? What is our responsibility in visual culture education?
